Senior web developer, EComcommerce, has announced a major overhaul of its platform.
Senior web developers are moving away from the old desktop web app and moving to the mobile app.
Senior developer Andrew Miller, who leads ECommer, said the move to mobile is not just about a redesign, but a rethinking of how the business works.
“We’re changing how the customer interacts with the product, we’re not just trying to have a desktop app that people use to do things like order or create their orders.
We’re doing this in a completely different way.
We want to make it much easier for the user to get in and out of the app, and that’s really important to us.
We are working with mobile developers, we are working on a new mobile version of the product. “
So that’s what’s coming next.
We are working with mobile developers, we are working on a new mobile version of the product.
We’ll be releasing that to the community at some point in the future.”
The redesign is expected to be available for download in a couple of weeks.
The company said it will also make some changes to the way customers access the app.
Miller said the company is making some changes because of what he called “technical debt” from the past.
He said the app had been designed in such a way that was “not scalable, it wasn’t robust enough to support a lot of use cases, and it didn’t scale well with other businesses”.
“And we didn’t have a lot to show for it.
And so we’re trying to make that work better and better.”
Miller has also been working on an internal overhaul of the platform and its APIs. “
But we’re working on it.”
Miller has also been working on an internal overhaul of the platform and its APIs.
ECommers latest redesign, dubbed ‘Bigger and better’ has a “more focused focus on usability and simplicity”, he said.
The team has also created a new developer dashboard that will show what developers are working into the new version.
Miller told The Verge that the changes have been “very hard”.
“There’s been some really tough work done on the API, so that’s a lot easier to work with now,” he said, adding that he was “really excited” about the changes.
“It feels really great to see the changes, we’ve got a new dashboard with a lot more info on what developers can do.”
