The term “web developer” has come to mean an individual with a particular skill set, and often with a specific industry.
It also carries a stigma that a programmer should be doing all the heavy lifting, and that a web developer must have some kind of experience in the web and in web development.
But it’s time to acknowledge that the web developer role is far from being an isolated role.
It’s a wide-ranging, diverse, and dynamic role, with many different skills and interests.
